Prayagraj, February 2025 — Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami received a warm and respectful welcome from the spiritual community on Sunday as he participated in the “Samrasata with Equality” program held during an Acharya camp in Prayagraj.
The event, aimed at promoting unity and harmony within society, witnessed the participation of several revered saints and spiritual leaders from across the country. On this special occasion, CM Dhami was honored for his pivotal role in making Uttarakhand the first Indian state to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC).
Recognizing his leadership and progressive vision, the attending saints garlanded the Chief Minister with floral malas and expressed their appreciation for bringing legal uniformity that aligns with the ideals of equality and justice.
In his address, Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the importance of inclusive governance, spiritual values, and societal balance. He acknowledged the blessings and guidance of the saints, stating that the support of the spiritual community strengthens the resolve to bring positive reforms for the welfare of all citizens.
