New Delhi : Shri Chirag Paswan, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI), visited Bharat Mandapam today to oversee the preparations for the highly anticipated World Food India 2024 event. Scheduled to be held from September 19 to 22, 2024, this mega food event is expected to attract key stakeholders from the global food processing industry.
During his visit, Shri Paswan conducted a comprehensive review of the event’s arrangements, ensuring that the infrastructure, logistics, and safety measures were up to international standards. He toured the venue, inspecting various setups for exhibitors, conference areas, and other key facilities that will host numerous participants, including international delegations, industry experts, and food entrepreneurs.
The Hon’ble Minister also chaired a detailed meeting with officials and organisers, where he stressed the importance of maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency throughout the event. He urged all teams to ensure a seamless experience for both exhibitors and attendees, keeping in mind the global reputation of World Food India.
Shri Paswan expressed his confidence that the event would provide a significant platform for promoting India’s food processing sector and attracting foreign investments. He highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing the country’s food processing capabilities, with a focus on boosting exports, supporting MSMEs, and fostering innovation in the sector.
World Food India 2024 will showcase India’s potential in food production, processing, and exports, featuring exhibitions, conferences, and B2B meetings.
