A shocking incident unfolded in the Nakraunda area of Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where a dispute over payment for a car wash took a violent turn. A man allegedly bit off a portion of a young worker’s ear after being asked to pay for the car cleaning service.
According to police reports, the youth had washed the man’s car and approached him for payment. Instead of settling the due amount, the car owner became aggressive and, during the altercation, bit the youth’s ear, leaving him seriously injured and bleeding.
Locals rushed to the scene and helped the injured worker, who was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is reported to be stable.
The Dehradun police have registered a case against the unidentified accused and have begun an investigation. Authorities confirmed that the incident stemmed from a monetary dispute and turned into a case of physical assault.
Efforts are underway to identify and arrest the suspect. Police officials stated that nearby CCTV footage is being reviewed and witnesses are being questioned to ensure swift action.
The incident has sparked concern among residents, highlighting the need for better conflict resolution and the importance of public safety in everyday interactions.
